Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 8, 2026. This policy explains how TMI Transit handles personal information collected through tmitransit.com and our freight services.
1. Information We Collect
When you fill out a quote or contact form on tmitransit.com, we collect the information you provide — typically your name, phone number, email address, and the type of service you're inquiring about. We also collect basic analytics data (page visits, referring URL, marketing campaign parameters such as Google Ads click identifiers, browser type, and approximate geographic region) through Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, and similar tools.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information you provide to:
- Respond to your quote request or inquiry
- Set up your account or carrier profile if you become a partner
- Send freight-related communications about your shipment or load
- Improve our website, marketing, and customer service
- Comply with legal obligations and protect against fraud
3. Communications and Consent (TCPA)
By submitting your phone number through one of our forms, you consent to receive automated phone calls and text messages from TMI Transit or our authorized service providers regarding your inquiry, freight quotes, or related services. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of receiving a quote — you can request a quote by phone or email without opting in to automated communications.
You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. To stop phone calls, request opt-out by emailing Carriers@tmitransit.com.
4. Third-Party Services
Form submissions are processed through our service partner AmplifyMyLeads, which routes leads into our internal CRM and may trigger follow-up SMS (via Plivo) or AI voice calls (via Vapi). We use Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics for site analytics. We use Google Ads for advertising attribution. These third parties have their own privacy policies and we share only what's necessary for them to perform their function.
5. Cookies and Tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies for analytics, advertising attribution, and basic site functionality. You can disable cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may limit some site features.
6. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described above, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Inactive lead records are typically retained for up to three years before deletion.
7. Your Rights (CCPA / GDPR)
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, or to opt out of certain uses. To exercise these rights, email us at Carriers@tmitransit.com. We'll respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
8. Children's Privacy
Our services are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change. Significant changes will be communicated through the website or directly to active customers.
